Description:

The MB PrestigeFOLD NET 38 is a highly efficient machine that offers optimal results through a fully automatic setting from feeder to delivery. The machine is easy to operate, with very short set-up times.

The MB PrestigeFOLD NET 38 comes with two types of feeders - a shallow pile PBA feeder, and a deep pile FSA feeder. Starting with the unfolded sheet size, the chosen type of fold, and the paper thickness measured by the paper thickness sensor, the computer control calculates the positions of the various setting elements and adjusts them accordingly.

This intelligent machine control and touchscreen operation simplify the folding process. The central touchscreen panel is the interactive operator interface where all essential settings are made. Manual interference is reduced to a minimum. The operator's guidance is self-explanatory, and the operator knows at any time which menu is active and which options are still available.

The machine has a program memory for 200 repetitive jobs and comes with 20 pre-programmed folds. Other folds are freely programmable. The fold units come with 4 or 6 fold plates and are expandable up to 3 buckle fold units. The machine can also be combined with a mobile knife fold unit.

Through an interface, PrestigeFOLD allows integration into in-plant networks. This is the basis for transferring data to the machine via a JDF file or for production data acquisition.
